This album is a complex dedication to all of my friends. The cover art is a photo of my late older brother, Tim McCabe, circa 1988 - photo by Alan Fisher. This album is dedicated to Alan Sondheim, the great American master musician, thinker, scholar. I also want to thank Alan for sharing the alto clarinet with Mark Pino and myself. I appreciate the gesture.
